A Look Back and Forward
Hello On the Rocks Fans and Followers,
We hope you all enjoyed a lovely holiday with those near and dear to you. After a rush of insanity with my day job coordinating an Adopt a Family Holiday Gift Program that serves over 500 kids in our local community, I got a chance to take a breather and enjoy my family for the holidays. Because it seems we never stop, it was special to slow down and just be with our family, my mom, and my in-laws. Most importantly, we were able to enjoy some small moments that we miss day-to-day. Here’s a couple of fun memories over that time.
Us by our tree!
My mom and my youngest making homemade mozzarella cheese.
This cooking enthusiast enjoyed a cookbook my in-laws gave her for Christmas by making everyone a made-to-order omelet.
As we reflect on this year coming to an end, we are grateful, once again, for the support that you have shown us. It’s hard to believe that this book has been out over a year and a half, and we are still busy. Whether you attended one of our live events, bought or reviewed our book, or just helped to spread the word to others, we are so very appreciative.
We look forward to 2025, which is already heavily laden with cooking experiences. New to our menu, we’ve added private Cook ‘n Books for those people like me who don’t like to leave their house. You get a crew together and pick a pasta, and we will come to you!
Here are some other things we are excited about. Look for me and the On the Rocks crew to pop up at some new venues with some more Cook ‘n Book experiences starting in the spring. See my website for how to score tickets www.mariacpalmer.com.
Also, in the spirit of speaking things into existence. We hope to have an audiobook and some interest/sale of my new cookbook in the new year. We will also continue to work on our film/TV./stage rights. Send some good vibes our way.
Until next year!
With gratitude,
Maria C. Palmer, On the Rocks Co-Author
